As Luke and I were shopping for some Valentines Day candy, I could not resist taking a picture of this hilarious product placement at Wal-Mart. At the corner of the largest Valentines Day aisle in the store, next to the Reese's and the York peppermint patties and of course the oversized stuffed animals, a rack of FACE MASKS for your purchasing convenience! Oh how we laughed!
I get that H1N1 and the Flu are things that no one wants to mess with. Colds are quite common during this time of the year and you can pass them along through coughing and sharing among other things... but really?
If the love of your life has H1N1 this valentines day season, may I suggest a delay of kissing.... or if the Flu is a factor in your life, maybe you should be resting and not celebrating this season.
But if you must, no fear... Wal-Mart is here. As you buy the gifts for you loved one, do not worry, you can still enjoy a quick peck while wearing masks that were conveniently located where you were shopping!
