Today I have decided to start a project in my house. I have a wonderful marriage with my husband, but I am a believer that everything can always get better. I am going to start an experiment for the next 40 days in my house.
For the next 40 days I will focus on super-serving my husband! I am going to make it my goal to make him feel loved and appreciated every day.
Now, I know what you are thinking (maybe).. shouldn't you do that everyday? Yes... i should, but I am a human and get selfish sometimes. Isn't it funny how it seems so logical that we should be a little selfish and look out for ourselves when in reality if we work on serving our spouse, the rewards come around 10 fold. I know that from my side, when my husband serves me, it's amazing how easy it is for me to serve him and love on him. That is my goal.
I am going to write at least once a week to update you on how this "project" is going. Hopefully with much prayer and a lot of love, the next 40 days will prove to be a wonderful learning experience for my marriage!
